As an Analytical Chemist you are a key member of the R&D team. Your role is to analyze new or existing pharmaceutical formulations to support the development of products for our customers. You are responsible for the following:

• Development and optimization of a wide variety of analytical methods and techniques, such as drug purity assay via (U)HPLC, SEC, GC, dissolution testing and stability studies.
• Solving a variety of analytical challenges
• Using the methods developed to characterize new formulations, determine their release profile and assess the long-term stability.
• Maintenance of all R&D equipment and systems
• Provide and discuss analytical test data and observations directly with the R&D Team. Based on your input, the next step in formulation development will be made. Alongside your analytical role, there is also the opportunity to work with the R&D team on the product development projects.

We are looking for an accurate, team player with a sharp mind, flexible attitude and entrepreneurial spirit, who can contribute to our mission:

• You have an education in (analytical) chemistry (Bachelors/Masters);
• You have Knowledge of U/HPLC, GC, UV-VIS, SEC and preferably dissolution testing;
• You enjoy working in the lab
• You recognize yourself in a “can-do” mentality; You pick things up and run with them
• You are Self-starter with a strong work ethic
• You are able to translate goals into a feasible plan of action.
• Good communication skills in spoken and written English (Dutch is a pre)
